python3-minimal software package provides minimal subset of the Python language (default python3 version), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-minimal
python3-minimal is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-minimal package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-minimal *
You will get with python3-minimal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
